Tiger Drive-In
Tiger, Georgia
Tiger Drive-In is a cherished piece of Northeast Georgia mountain culture, originally opening in 1954 in the tiny village of Tiger — population just a few hundred. After closing in the mid-1980s, the drive-in was lovingly restored and reopened, and today it draws visitors from across the region and beyond. The single-screen theater sits within walking distance of downtown Tiger and is operated with a genuine passion for the drive-in tradition. Open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from approximately March through October, the Tiger Drive-In features modern digital projection, FM stereo broadcast, grass terraces for lawn chair viewing, an on-site grill (TDI Grill), a children's playground, Wi-Fi, and a pet-friendly policy. Adult admission is $10, kids 4–11 are $5, and children under 3 are free. Gates open at 5pm with movies starting at 6pm — unusually early for a drive-in, making it accessible for families with young children.
