Starlight Drive-In Theatre
Atlanta, Georgia
Starlight Drive-In Theatre is Atlanta's last remaining drive-in and one of the most beloved in the Southeast, having operated continuously since it opened in 1949. Originally called the Starlight Six for its six screens, the theater was expanded and modernized over the decades โ three additional screens were added in 1983, and a complete digital projection system was installed in 2013. Today four screens run nightly, showing double features for just $10 per adult and $1 for kids ages 5โ9. Screen 1 broadcasts on 97.1 FM; each screen has its own FM frequency posted on signage at the gate. Beyond the movies, the Starlight hosts one of metro Atlanta's largest weekly flea markets every Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 3pm. The theater is open seven nights a week, year-round, making it a rare constant in Atlanta's entertainment landscape.
