We collect information in two ways:

• Information you provide — when you create an account, submit a review, or use the Add Your Theater form. This includes your email address, display name, and any content you submit.
• Usage data — pages visited, referring URLs, browser type, and device type, collected automatically via Google Analytics 4 when you browse the site.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the directory
• To display reviews and user-submitted content you choose to publish
• To verify theater submissions and contact submitters
• To analyze site usage and improve user experience
• To prevent spam and abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to track aggregate, anonymized usage patterns. We do not use advertising cookies or build individual user profiles for advertising purposes.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data Storage

User accounts, reviews, and theater data are stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Theater submission form data is stored in the same database and is only accessible to site administrators.

Your Rights

You may request at any time:

• A copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your account and associated data

Children's Privacy

DriveInGuide is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
