The Parkway Drive-In first opened in 1950 in Maryville, closed in the mid-1980s, and was lovingly restored and reopened to serve Blount County once more. Sitting on East Lamar Alexander Parkway at the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains, the Parkway enjoys one of the most scenic settings of any drive-in in Tennessee. Its revival is a love letter to Maryville's outdoor cinema heritage and to the visitors who pass through heading to the Smokies each season.
