Bay Drive-In Theatre has been a fixture of the Thousand Islands region since 1968, sitting two miles outside Alexandria Bay at the corner of Route 26 and Bailey Settlement Road. The two-screen drive-in offers a quintessential North Country summer experience for locals and the many visitors who flock to the 1000 Islands area each summer. Cinema 1 broadcasts on 106.1 FM and Cinema 2 on 92.3 FM. Adults pay just $7, seniors and active military with valid ID pay $5, children 7–11 are $3, and kids 6 and under are free — making it one of the most affordable drive-ins in the state. The Bay operates rain or shine and even offers battery-powered radio rentals for guests who arrive by boat or in vehicles without a radio.
