Wilderness Outdoor Movie Theater

Trenton, Georgia

Wilderness Outdoor Movie Theater opened in 2005 and quickly established itself as one of the most impressive drive-in experiences in the Southeast. Built on 45 sprawling acres in the mountains of northwest Georgia near Trenton — just south of Chattanooga, Tennessee — the theater features two enormous 100-foot by 50-foot screens showing double features side by side. With over 1,000 parking spaces, it's one of the highest-capacity drive-ins in the country. Adults pay just $7 and children 3 and under are free, making it an exceptional family value. Beyond the cars, guests can watch the movies from an adjacent landscaped grassy hillside in lawn chairs or on blankets — blending drive-in and outdoor cinema traditions. Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with gates at 7pm, Wilderness is a regional gem for both the Chattanooga metro and visitors to the North Georgia mountains.
