Superior 71 Drive-In is northwest Iowa's premier outdoor cinema, opened in 2008 at the corner of Highways 9 and 71 in Spirit Lake and expanded to two screens in 2019. Set near the Iowa Great Lakes, it draws summer vacationers and lake-country residents from across Dickinson County with Wednesday-through-Sunday showings throughout the season. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children, and FM radios are available to rent at the concession stand.
