Skyline Drive-In

Barstow, California

The Skyline Drive-In sits on Old Highway 58 at the edge of Barstow, offering two screens of Mojave Desert drive-in magic under one of California's most expansive night skies. Operating seasonally from March through January on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the Skyline is a weekend escape for desert residents and travelers passing through on I-15 or I-40. General admission is $13 for adults and $6 for children ages 5–11, with children 4 and under free. Note that the Skyline is cash only with no on-site ATM. Gates open at 6:30 PM with films beginning at dusk. Sound is broadcast through your car's FM radio, and a snack bar serves popcorn and concession items for the evening. The remote location and vast open desert sky give the Skyline an otherworldly, timeless drive-in atmosphere unlike anywhere else in California.
