The Narrow Gauge Drive-In opened in July 2017 as Maine's newest drive-in, operated by the same family that runs the Narrow Gauge Cinemas indoor theater in downtown Farmington. The intimate single-screen lot holds about 60 cars and runs seasonally April through October, charging $20 per carload which includes a medium popcorn and two sodas. Its compact, community feel makes it a favorite for Franklin County families and University of Maine Farmington students.
