Malta Drive-In

Malta Drive-In traces its roots to 1949 when it was built along the Route 9 corridor in Malta, Saratoga County — just south of the world-famous Saratoga Springs. What started as a single-screen theater has grown to two screens with a combined capacity of 550 cars. Screen 1 broadcasts on 90.1 FM and Screen 2 on 103.3 FM, with double features on both. Adult admission is $12 and children are $6. Malta's location on Route 9 — the historic north-south highway that predates the Northway — puts it in the middle of one of New York's fastest-growing regions, serving everyone from longtime Saratoga County residents to the summer racing crowd and tech corridor workers who have flocked to the area. The drive-in has been showing movies here through Saratoga's racing seasons and Northway-era growth for over 75 years.
