Evergreen Drive-In

The Evergreen Drive-In in Mount Pleasant has a history stretching back to 1947, when it opened as the Ruth Horne Drive-In before being sold and renamed in 1961. Today it operates three screens in Westmoreland County, about 45 minutes southeast of Pittsburgh, serving as one of the region's premier outdoor movie destinations. Admission is $9 for adults and $4 for children ages 6–11, with children 5 and under free. Cash is required at the box office, while credit and debit cards are accepted at the concession stand. The theater runs double features through spring, summer, and fall, and its three-screen capacity allows for a variety of current films every evening. The Evergreen's decades of history and consistent operation have made it a beloved institution in the Laurel Highlands region of southwestern Pennsylvania.
